|
On Sunday 5th August 2007 the Chaguaramas
Ladies held our first Ladies Invitational Better Ball Tournament.
All the ladies had a very good time and we
were also very fortunate to have good weather. Special mention must be
made of the Ladies Sub-Committee comprising Yulin Ruiz, Emilie
Ramsahai, Brenda Clarke, Christine McShine-Griffin, Verron Atherley-Rowe
and Marcian Ray-Graham for all of their hard work and preparation in
making our tournament a success.
Noel Elias our Vice President has been a
great help to the ladies along with our President, Anthony Claverie.
On behalf of our sub-committee we would
like to thank all of the ladies who took part in our tournament from
St. Andrews Golf Club, Pointe-a-Pierre Golf Club, Millenium Golf Club
and of course our Chaguaramas Golf Club.
Results of the tournament are as follows -
1st place - Violet Roopchan
& Gisele Marfleet - 65 net
2nd place - Diane Julien &
Samantha Salvary - 69 net
3rd place - Phyllis Mohammed &
Cynthia Harewood - 70 net
4th place - Emilie Ramsahai &
Keziah Bailey - 70 net
5th place - Sharon Attin & Tori
Baptiste - 71 net
On Sunday 30th September 2007 we will be
having a Ladies Workshop.
Amoy Chang Fong will be one of the
presenters helping us on that day.
